All hand carved drums are available by commission only.  Please call to place any commission order. Prices below reflect hand carved drums made in the USA. Prices for hand carved African djembes will be made available soon.

Wood species for hand carved drums vary with local availability. Requests for specific wood species cannot always be accommodated.  Base prices below reflect drums with hand carved texture and no ornamental carving.  If ornamental carving or a smooth finish is desired, please let us know and we will adjust prices accordingly.

Policies

WHOLESALE PURCHASING: Drums may be purchased at wholesale prices when ordering 5 or more. Shekeres may be purchased at wholesale prices when ordering 10 or more. Call or send an email for price quotes.

PERSONALIZING YOUR DRUM (no extra charge): All drums except Frame drums are available with or without decorative ring of fur.  Please indicate which you prefer.  Drums will be shipped without fur unless otherwise specified. Please let us know if there is a color you prefer for the wrapping around the tension rings.  

SHIPPING: Shipping and handling is calculated on a percentage basis. For totals under $199.00, shipping is 15% of the total cost. For total purchases $200.00 and over, shipping is 13% of the total cost. Shipping to locations outside the continental USA, including Alaska and Hawaii are subject to additional fees and additional shipping time. These fees will be calculated on a per order basis.

Shipping within the continental USA normally takes 7 days. Please allow 1 - 2 weeks for shipment for inside continental USA. For custom or special orders, please allow 4 - 6 weeks for completion of your drum and then 1 - 2 weeks for shipping.

CURRENCY TYPE: Payment is accepted in the form of USA dollars only. Check or money order processing takes 1 - 2 weeks before instrument will be shipped. Credit card payments may be made through Paypal (no Paypal account needed.)

SALES TAX: Sales tax will be added to purchases made by Missouri residents.

RETURNS: Returns are accepted up to 10 days from date of delivery (based on UPS or US Postal Service tracking records) on undamaged items for a full refund of the cost of the item and sales tax if applied.  Customers who wish to be reimbursed for return shipping charges should mail a copy of the return shipping receipt to the address above. Initial shipping charges are non-refundable. Please call or email us for a Return Authorization Number if you need to return an item. No returns will be accepted without an authorization number. No returns are accepted for commissioned instruments.
