Hand Painted Drums
Wildwood Instruments is proud to offer hand painted drums. As with all of our practices, we try to use materials that have the least amount of impact on the environment. We use acrylic paint to create beautiful, colorful designs and protect the images with several coats of water based varnish. The paint and the varnish are both applied with brushes thereby eliminating any use of propellants that may cause harm to the environment. From time to time, we will have hand painted ashikos, djembes and dounouns for sale on this page, however, hand painted drums are currently available only by commission at the moment. Please contact us to discuss the design, colors and drum style you would like to purchase. We will be honored to produce a professional quality musical instrument of exceptional beauty for you.
